Yesterday was Will's first day in church. In Greek Orthodox tradition, approximately 40 days after a baby is born, they return to the church to be "churched-" that is to begin attending church. It is basically a blessing on the mother and since they have been out of church for a while and a blessing of the baby who will now start to attend church. When we woke up on Sunday morning, John told Will he was going to meet God today. I thought that was hysterical. John's family was of course there and my family came too. It was great that my brother and his family were already in town because they got to come too!
