Around Here

Another work week has begun...SAT testing is this week...Oh joy! John was sick on Friday and most of Saturday, then last night my throat started getting sore. I went to work today and my ears were killing me so I figured I might should go to the doctor and get whatever I had nipped in the bud since I have to be at school the rest of this week for testing. Basically I paid my $20 copay for Mr. Doctor to tell me that yes, my throat is red, and yes my ears are really full of pressure, no I do not have strep, but just a virus and to take some Sudafed. Are you kidding me? I have been taking Sudafed. Since I am my son's only source of nourishment, Sudafed is about it for me. Should be a fun few days.
On a much happier note, Will is back to his old self. Still a bit fussy at night, but has been sleeping through the night again since Friday night. He is sleeping from 8:30 until almost 7 which we are so incredibly grateful for!
And today Will was in for a special treat. He got to meet his Aunt Jean! Mrs. Ellis is like a second mom to me-they lived down the street from us all through elementary school through high school. About 5 years ago they moved to Gainesville, Georgia. Her daughter, Elizabeth was in my wedding and is a dear friend. She had only "met" Will on the blog. He just smiled and "talked" while she was here (the talking is new...he makes all kinds of funny sounds and expressions, like he is carrying on a real conversation). We are so glad that Mrs. Ellis got a chance to stop by!

He looks so cute in the sleeping picture. That's awesome that he will sleep that long! It seems that Trent is stuck at 8 hours a night. He had an 8oz bottle at 8pm last night and still only slept until 4:45... but I slept 7 hours straight, so I'm not complaining yet:)
I hope Will does great this week!!

It makes me laugh that you and shealy both posted pictures of the babies in the most adorable sleeping positions! Glad he's doing better with the sleeping and I hope you and John get over the sickness quick!

:( So sad you are sick!
I can totally relate... I have had a sore throat for over a week! Ryan seems to think it's all the pollen.
Tell Will I said hello!

Sad to hear you are sick!!! Proud that you are nourishing that boy! Depressed that my kids STILL don't sleep through the night...the 4-yr-old in particular. Hmmmmm...
