We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! Of course, this was supposed to be Will's first day in church...needless to say we did not go. It was WAY too cold to get him out and we weren't sure about some of the roads. So instead we stayed home and played in the snow. Well John and Bentley played in the snow and Will and I watched.

John played ball with Bentley and it was hysterical. This is Bentley's 2nd experience with snow. We got some snow last year in Auburn, but not like this. When John finally brought Bent back inside, he was covered in snowballs. It looks like he has on a sweater!! Snow just kept accumulating on his under belly as he chased after the ball. He went straight into the bathtub once inside.

Will and I felt left out so I bundled him up and ran him outside for some quick pictures, and so he could at least say he had experienced the snow. Granted this picture is not so lovely of me (still in my Pajamas and unbrushed hair) but I love his face in this. Every time the snow hit his face, he would stick his tongue out!

After Will went down for a nap, John decided he wanted to build a snowman. I had no idea he intended to build a for real snowman. And furthermore, I couldn't believe the snow was so perfect for a snowman...very easy to pack and stack. After about an hour, this is what I saw!

John did an awesome job. I helped put the finishing touches on. We used clementines for the eyes, cinnamon sticks for the nose and (small) arms, and a piece of Bentley's bacon for the mouth. We totally forgot about buttons! It looked like a snowman you would find up north.

John was so proud of his creation! We wanted to get a picture of John with Will by the snowman, but by the time the little man woke up, it had fallen over and was melting. What a great snow day!!
