Will is all into animals these days. We have several puzzles with animals on them and he can identify the duck, dog, cat, turtle, horse, sheep, pig, elephant, gorilla, bunny, cow, and on a good day the hippo :)
Now that the weather has warmed up, we have taken him a few times to the lake in Liberty Park to feed the ducks. He is so fascinated by them and loves throwing bread in the water so that they will come near. The ducks are not afraid....they get very close to the dock. Even the fish jump out of the water sometimes to try and get a bite of bread. This cracks Will up and he giggles uncontrollably.

And I have to get this on the blog so I remember it...Will is obsessed with books. Any books. He loves them!! A neighbor gave us this book for his birthday. This is by far his favorite and I highly recommend it if you have a baby around Will's age. He is into a pointing phase-he points at EVERYTHING and makes a shhh sound because he wants you to tell him the word. This book is filled with pictures for him to point to. On the first page is a baby and above it is a woman and a man. For some reason I have always called them the momma and the daddy. We were looking and pointing in that book the other night and I asked Will where the baby was...he pointed. I then said "Where's the momma?" He looked for a second and seemed to be really thinking, then he turned, grinned, and pointed at me! Melted my heart. I LOVE this age-very playful and interactive!!!!

Love it...it just gets better...new challenges...but better!
So sweet Brooke. There is a petting zoo at Oak Mountain that I think Will would really like. One duck kept nibbling James' leg and James was out of control laughing. We could do this sometime and have a picnic out there. It was fun. Have a great week!
