Duck, Duck, Duck....MONKEY!

I cannot believe this little angel is 15 months old. He is such a big boy!! He went to the doctor last Wednesday. He weighed 25 pounds and was 33 inches long. He is just perfect!
Some new things...
-Will has 13 teeth now!!
-He can identify almost everything we say...animals, household items, food
-He LOVES to wrestle with daddy
-He says mama (sometimes "ommy" which is adorable), dada, da (we think this is for Bentley), and Kiki said that yesterday he called her Kiki!
-He is ALL BOY. Any toy you give him now he launches it. He won't stay still for very long unless it is just before night time. He no longer slides down his slide-he climbs through the sides and tries to figure out ways to make me a nervous wreck.
-He shakes his head NO when he doesn't want something (this is new as of this weekend and it is hilarious-he does it with such attitude)
-He has very exciting conversations with himself when he wakes up in the morning before I go in his room to get him-it is hysterical!
-He would spend all day outside if we let him-his new favorite discoveries are bubbles and sidewalk chalk
-He LOVES books and puzzles! He cannot get enough. They are ALL over our house. I love that he will sit in his big boy chair that is in our den and just flip through books. Whenever it gets especially quiet, that is usually where we find him!

Now for the title and picture-tonight when we put him in the bath, he lined up all of his toys that would stay put on the side of the tub. He has 3 rubber duckies and a monkey that would sit flat and stare back at him. He pointed to each one and so I said "duck, duck, duck." When we came to the monkey, it was so funny, because he knew it wasn't a duck and he just looked up at me wondering what I would say. John and I started chanting "Duck, Duck, Duck...Monkey!" like how you would say it if playing duck duck goose. He was cracking up. Thank goodness bath time is fun again!!

Each new day is so much fun and equally challenging at the same time. I just bought the book "Don't Make Me Count to Three" by Ginger Plowman. It focuses on heart oriented discipline. Good read so far-I will let you know if it works :)
