Will officially became a BOY on Sunday by taking his first major spill and coming out with a banged up chin! He had just gotten up and was reading some books while I went into the kitchen to get some milk for him. All of a sudden I just heard a splat and then silence. He whimpered for just a minute but when I went to get him up, he went back to reading books like nothing had happened. I did not actually see it but from where he was sitting after the fact, and me literally being gone maybe 15 seconds, I can gather that he just slipped on the hardwood and hit the book basket. He had a big scrape on either side of his chin. Only one side bled, but not bad. Obviously I was more traumatized than Will. It seems like he just morphed into a little boy overnight. Since his chin, he has scraped both knees and suddenly has no fear of anything at the park.

i'm pretty sure that mary thomas is all "tom-boy"...her knees are so banged up right now. and the bruises! oh my goodness!! she just loves to be outside and learning to walk allows for lots of spills- on the driveway, in the grass, in the mulch, on the sidewalk, etc. i feel your pain!!
