Disney: Day 3

Will woke up in a great mood! I was getting ready and he was watching T.V. I glanced over and realized he had all his pirate garb out and on in the bed with him with his pajamas still on. What a nut!We started off this day at Hollywood Studios. We had reservations for breakfast with Handy Manny, Oso, Jake (From the Neverland Pirates), and some girl from Little Einsteins (Can you tell we don't watch that show??).
Will was much less shy at this character breakfast and the characters cracked him up!
He really was enjoying himself... Handy Manny started playing with his pirate stuff and he thought it was hilarious!
We even had our family picture taken with Manny....a dream come true! :)
He loved Jake and on more than one occasion asked me where the Neverland Pirates were!! Cracked me up!!I cannot stress how much we loved character breakfasts!! We loved the characters, but loved beating the crowds to the park even more! I also LOVED Will's shirt for this day!! Woody Mickey Ears....we got all of his shirts from Beanstalk Baby and Child (friends of mine from highschool-check them out-super cute stuff!!). They can do anything!!We didn't have to wait for Toy Story Mania AT ALL!! Rode it first thing and then fast passed it for another ride! Will loved this ride, as we knew he would! This is also one of mine and John's favorites. Unfortunately we weren't able to be competitive since we were so generous and always let Will shoot on one of the guns :)The talking Mr. Potato Head that we passed by in line was a huge hit!He giggled the entire time! After Toy Story Mania, we stumbled upon this little picture taking line. It was scenes from Toy Story and we were about to pass it up, but realized that Buzz and Woody were at the end! There was hardly any line, and I knew it would be a really long wait later in the day so we decided to go ahead and do it.
Meeting Woody and Buzz....he thought this was very cool! He even pounded it with Buzz!
From there we went to the Playhouse Disney Junior show. This was a big hit with Will. It was inside (air conditioned) and we sat on the floor. Several different shows were represented to help Mickey solve a problem at the clubhouse. Toodles makes an appearance and each of the mousketools were something from another Disney show. After lunch we did the Indiana Jones stunt show and Will was NOT a fan. In fact, every single ride we rode/character we stood in line to meet/show we went to after this Indiana Jones show, Will asked us if there was going to be fire. I guess it scarred him for the rest of the trip. John thought he would totally be into it, but I think he really thought it was real and that people were getting hurt and things were blowing up. We thought the stunts would be a hit, but we were badly mistaken! He fell asleep and woke up just in time to catch the Pixar Parade. After the parade, we headed over to Magic Kingdom. I love how our schedule of time spent in the parks played out. I really feel like you can do all you can do with kids in Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in half a day. The majority of stuff that is for them is at Magic Kingdom...so it was nice to chip away at it over a course of 2 afternoon/evenings and one whole day so that we didn't leave everything to do in the Magic Kingdom for one day. We would have never gotten to it all!
Right when we walked in, we noticed that a Dream Along with Mickey show was about to get started at the castle. Will and I got great seats while John went to fast pass Winnie the Pooh. It is all about strategy, people :)
We had some time before Winnie the Pooh, and Will spotted the race trak. He has never been on a go cart, so I had no idea that he would love this ride THAT much. He loved a lot of rides, however this was the one that he asked to go on over and over again. I think we rode it 5 times over 2 days.I was laughing so hard watching them pull away. The car is on a track so you steer but it really doesn't matter if you steer or not because it won't let you run into anyone. You basically control the gas and the steering wheel works, but the track keeps you on course. Will was adamant that he do it all by himself. He reminded us all through the line that he did not want any help driving. All I could see as they pulled away was John's neck snapping hard left and then hard right and Will cracking up! He thought it was hilarious and told us he was a crazy driver (indeed he was!). They got off and we got back in line immediately because he loved it so much. This time it was my turn to be co-pilot!We rode Winnie the Pooh and then grabbed some Mickey suckers on our way to get in line for It's a Small World. After that, we called it a night! We had a full day of Magic Kingdom fun ahead of us.
