The Circus!

Mary got together a little group to go to the circus and we had a blast! I wasn't sure if Will would love it or not, but I figured he would at least have fun with his cousins! I can't remember the last time I went to the circus...It had to be probably 20 years ago. Will was very interested in all that was going on around him. Before the circus, you can go down on the main floor and see clowns, elephants, etc. Of course there is an adequate supply of J-U-N-K that you can come home with. We were fortunate to bring home a light spinner with a dragon on top (whose batteries, by the way, died on the way home, a whopping 2 hours after we bought it). Pops gave Will some money to buy a "prize" at the circus and that is what Will chose.
All of the kids did really well for the first part. I think Will would have sat through the whole thing had there not been intermission...Intermission totally lost all of them. They were up and moving around and clearly had lost interest by that point. So we left. It wasn't a big deal though, we all felt like we had our fill of the circus. I got to eat a funnel cake for dinner, so that fact alone made me happy about attending the circus, regardless of how long we stayed.
I tried to get a group shot at the end and Will completely lost it. He was completely distressed that we were making him share his toy :) Can we say overstimulated??
