It has come to my attention that Bentley has definitely taken a back seat on the blog since Will arrived. I felt the need to confirm his existence. He has really been so great through this whole process of adjusting to a baby. The first few days he sniffed Will a lot and would stare at the bassinett looking very confused when he heard noises coming from it in the den, but wasn't tall enough to see inside. Then he sort of just ignored him for a week or two. You could tell he was missing some attention and John and I did our best to take turns with Will so we could love on Bentley. Now I think Bent accepts the fact that Will is a part of the family. The other day I was making our bed and Will was in the process of melting down in his bouncer. Bentley went over to him and licked him on the hand, almost to say, "It's okay buddy, I'm right here." It was precious! The only thing I think Bentley isn't too fond of is the fact that whenever we leave the house, Will always gets to go, while Bent is left in the gates. All in all, he is being a great big (little) brother!
