John usually gives him time on his tummy time mat and then picks a book to read to him in a very animated voice :) Will just lays there and looks so attentive, which he never does for me when I try to read to him!
John has been very busy with school work lately. He just had 2 tests which involved a lot of studying and reading. He did a pretty awesome job at balancing everything-making sure he was ready for his test, helping me out with Will, and managing to stay caught up with 24, American Idol, The Biggest Loser, and Survivor. I don't think I could do all of that after getting home from work!
Will has gotten very fun over the past few days. He has started to smile and make all kinds of noises. I put him in his bouncer this morning in our bathroom so I could get in the shower. The whole time he "talked" to me and I just talked right back. We have also gotten more adventurous! The past few days we have gotten out to meet friends for lunch, go to clothing sales, go to Target, and today we met John for lunch. He is an angel in the car, always falling asleep. As long as we time it so we are back home by feeding time, the little man is happy! I hate that it has gotten cold again. We have not been able to take him on any more walks because it is so cold!
We are finally on a pretty good schedule. He goes to bed between 8 and 8:30, usually wakes between 2:30 and 3:30, goes back to sleep until 6:30. We are really trying the babywise method of at least 30 minutes of wake time after he eats through the day and then down for a nap. He likes to do this in reverse order. He falls asleep right after eating and then wakes about an hour before he eats again. Right now he is napping...so I get to catch up on my blog reading!

He is beautiful, and that's great that you both have the time to read to him. Sadly, we have not made that a priority with Jack.
I am reading baby wise right now, so is this something I really need to study up on? I am hoping it will help me know what type of schedule to use with Ryan. He is so precious, I cannot believe he is almost 2 months old, do you just feel like it has flown by? Tell John I am very proud of him for balancing everything and then still finding time for Survivor:)!
Turner also had the babywise prescribed schedule a little backward - she did the same waking up about 1 hour before eating and sleeping immeidately after feeding. I worried that would make our schedule not work - but it worked like a charm!! We are babywise believers! So - don't worry it seems backward - I believe it will still work for you!! Love the pictures!!
I love the "daddy time"!!!! and the sleeping picture is too cute! I wish you guys could come and visit me at work!!!!! This summer it's on!
