Brio, Bigger Pants, and Tony Franklin
My how things have changed this year as opposed to last year in terms of our anniversary plans :) To start with, most of the evening was consumed with people calling/text messaging John about Tony Franklin being fired. That definitely stirred up the AU nation. I had heard John analyze the situation with about 9 different people and finally around 5 I told him he had to turn his phone off! Of all days for Auburn's football team to make such a drastic change. Our first anniversary we got all dressed up and went to a nice restaurant for dinner. Last year we went to Atlanta and got all dressed up there and went to a nice restaurant for dinner. This year I'm pregnant. Needless to say, we had not even made our dinner plans for tonight. We knew we were going to go out but I couldn't decide what I wanted. One thing I did know that I wanted was some bigger pants. I have about 3 pairs of pants that actually fit comfortably and one of those is a pair of jeans which I can only wear to work on Friday. So I told John that we had to go and get me some new pants. There is a Motherhood Maternity at Brookwood so we decided we would eat at Brio, which is one of our favorite places anyway. So we left the house, me in my shirt I wore to work and jeans, John in shorts and a collared shirt, to find some big girl pants and eat. I did find some pants and our meal was fabulous-especially the cheesecake. Brio has the best cheesecake I have ever had!! We ended the night on the couch watching our wedding video which has been a tradition since our first anniversary. If our house were to catch on fire, I honestly think the only 2 things I would worry about getting would be Bentley and our wedding video. What is funny is I really didn't even want to get a videographer for our wedding but my mom talked me into it saying I would appreciate it someday. I absolutely love watching it. It is really fun to see how my niece and nephew have grown up. This year it was especially sentimental to me because my Daddy B is on the video a lot, and as I remember him, smiling his big smile. I wouldn't give anything for that video now that Daddy B is no longer down the street for me to see that smile anytime I want. I think that video will be so neat for our kids to watch someday. I would have loved to have something like that from when my parents got married. It totally recreates the weekend and makes us feel like we are right back there again! If you have not gotten married yet, make sure to hire someone to videotape it all!!

Dearest Brooke and John,
We wanted to wish you two a very happy 3rd anniversary!
Seems like only yesterday!!
John, we're very blessed to have you as a member of our family...and now, you two are about to make us grandparents again! How exciting!! Love to you both! KiKi and Pops(mom and dad webb)
Yay! Please do!... How do you get a list like that? I want to add all the to-be mommy's to a friend list so I can keep up! :)
p.s. I agree- Brio is amazing. ;)
Brooke,
Happy anniversary! I'm so happy you have that video of your wedding. A friend was supposed to film ours and told me a couple of days before the wedding that his plans had changed and he'd be out of town...I was too caught up in everything else to take the time to line up someone else. I regret that. Oh well...at least we have pics.
And congrats on baby!
