1,095 Days and Counting...

It is hard to believe that this was us three whole years ago. To me we look so young (maybe it is just my long hair) :) Today is our third anniversary. My how time flies. I wish that my blog hadn't been deleted earlier this year, because it would have been fun to go back and read the anniversary post from last year. A lot has happened to us in this third year of marriage. Together, we paid off a car, decided to take a leap of faith and move to Birmingham with no jobs, found jobs in Birmingham, bought our first house, and certainly our biggest endeavor yet...we found out we were going to have a baby! I know I am leaving out all kinds of fun stuff in between, but those are the highlights. Last year at dinner on our anniversary we talked about the highlights of the 2nd year (Disney World of course!!) and kind of talked about what we would like to happen in the next year of marriage. Buying a house was definitely on that list (though we weren't sure where it would be), however having a baby was not. But I can honestly say that if you were to ask either one of us, we wouldn't change a thing. These past few months have been the greatest months so far. We are definitely dependent on one another since neither of us has any clue what we are about to get into it :) I can't imagine experiencing this or going through life with any other person. I told John the other day that on our wedding day, even the day we got engaged, even just a few months after we were dating, I knew he was the man I was going to marry-the one that God had picked out just for me. What I didn't know is how incredibly happy I would be. I never imagined how awesome it would be to share life with John and all the crazy things that happen in it. John makes me laugh harder than anyone I know. He is my best friend and my perfect mate.
