Disney 2013

Another Disney trip is in the books! And this time Alex got to come!! We decided in the spring that we were ready to go back and take both boys so we planned a trip for October 4-9. Friday after work we got the boys bathed and the car loaded and headed out with the boys donning their new Mickey PJs.

We drove halfway and spent the night in Albany, Georgia. This was Alex's first experience in a hotel room.

It took the boys about an hour to calm down, but once they did, slept great and woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to drive the rest of the way to Orlando! We cut our last link off of our countdown in the Hampton Inn parking lot :)

Upon checking in at the All Star Movies resort, there was plenty to entertain the boys with and run off some energy. I will say (for those taking some Disney notes) that this was our last trip to stay there. We just found with 2 kids that we needed a bit more space, and the rooms are pretty dated. The boys loved staying in the Toy Story area though, with the GIANT Buzz and Woody.

After getting settled, we headed to Downtown Disney to walk around and have dinner. We ate at Rainforest Cafe. Boys loved seeing all the animals while we ate dinner and how they would come to life.

This is kind of how John and I felt after a long day of traveling :)

After picking up a few souvenirs, we headed back to the hotel to settle in for the night and get pumped up for our first day in the park---MAGIC KINGDOM!
