Shredded

This is what I picked up yesterday (along with some hand weights...) I fully intend to look like this in 30 days! HA! Well at least I'm trying. Shealy had this video at her house this weekend. I have been dying to get back to doing something, but I just don't have an hour or more to drive to the gym, work out, and get home. I just can't justify leaving Will after being gone all day. But this I can do. I started day 1 today and lets just say that I am about to die. It took me a good 10 minutes after I finished to catch my breath. I don't think I have been to the gym since I was 3 months pregnant so that means it has been about 9 months since I have done anything over than walking. The best part about it is that it only takes 22 minutes total. Jillian has this 3-2-1 system-3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. You repeat this 3 times (with different moves) and then have a 2 minute warm up and a 2 minute cool down. Definitely enough to get my heart racing and sweaty! I'll let you know how I fare after 30 days.

I'm counting on results from you so that I know whether or not I can start it after the doctor gives me the green light to get on with life :)

Oh, I am all over that!!! I need something to motivate and I can handle something (well, I say I can...) that doesn't take that much time! Thanks for sharing - will be looking for that soon!

I am on my fourth week of getting up at 4:45 to work out. A group of us have started going to the church and I can definitely tell a difference. We do aerobics 3 days a week and strength training 2 days. I have only missed 1 day and that was 2 weeks ago. Don't mean to boast but I am so proud of myself for getting up that early...especially when your baby doesn't sleep and you don't live in your own house. Hang in there!

My sister is doing this with a bunch of folks at her office. I have a basement underneath our house so I CAN NOT do anything that makes me jump or run or whatever because the whole house will shake, rattle and roll!! Good luck!

Well I am glad you are doing a at home workout. I just started mine yesterday. I am doing P90X, followed by precore. I mean I cannot move today. I just cannot deal with this baby gut any longer. Good luck!!!I'll be thinking about you while I am struggling to sit down!

Hey girl! I have heard great things about that DVD. I actually have it on my list of things to buy. I have bought a couple of the biggest loser DVD's and I think they do a good job of working you out fast! Can't wait to hear about your results and hopefully share mine ;)
