Trick or Treat

Monday night we met up with our neighbors and took some pictures before hitting up a few houses on our street like we have for the past 2 years. Poor Alex who is normally so happy and content had some major congestion going on and his left eye was red, puffy, and oozing. He was none too pleased to be dressed in his tiger costume and wasn't really in the mood to pose for pictures! The poor little guy lost it and that is when picture taking was over :)
However, this year we decided to take trick or treating to the next level and venture over to Liberty Park. Trick or treating over there gets serious so we decided to leave the little ones at home and just take the big kids (clearly Alex was not up for it).We parked at my parents house and hopped on their golf cart, the preferable mode of transportation by trick or treaters of all ages!People decorate for Halloween there like they do for Christmas! Will and Ava were amazed by all the cool inflatable lawn decor.
This T-Rex roared the WHOLE night!!!

It didn't take Will long to totally get the hang of it...What's not to love. You ring a doorbell, say trick or treat, and people willingly just hand over their candy! As soon as we would leave a house, Will would hand the candy to me or John and say "open please!" After Will went to bed, we were comparing notes trying to figure out how many pieces of candy he actually ate :)
We ended the night by knocking on EE and Uncle Mike's back door for one last treat...
This was a super fun new tradition that we will have to continue in the years to come. Good thing my parents live there so we don't feel like we are total moochers :)
