My mom and dad got me up really early yesterday morning. Like 4:50 A.M. early. When we got into the car, I remained calm because I was still in my pj's. Surely they wouldn't send me to school in my pj's....how embarrassing!
I got to go to this new place and play with lots of puzzles and books. The only thing that bothered me was they made me put on a dress. Mom called it a gown, but come on, there were no legs-it was a dress! I also didn't like some strange person taking me from my momma without even telling me first, so I let them know about it (very loudly)! But before I knew it, I was back in my momma's arms, feeling really sleepy, but better because I was back with my family. I overheard my mom and dad saying that I now have tubes in my ears. Are you kidding me? The only tube I have ever seen are the inflatable ones that we take to the pool and I cannot begin to imagine how that would fit inside my ear.
Basically I took anesthesia like a champ! I came home and ate and drank and took a great nap. I woke up a few times last night because my throat was dry, but overall momma and dada keep telling me what a good boy I have been. Not sure why I am not at school today. I guess it is those tube things. I am not complaining though-I love playing with my momma at home!!
Daddy tells me that football starts this weekend. I am SO excited. I know about all the recruits because I watched all their highlight videos all summer...I know what to do when the right team scores. I throw my arms up and dada yells touchdown, and momma thinks that I am the cutest thing ever. She is easily amused. Momma tells me there is a really funny video of dada at Tiger Walk that she posts every year here on the blog. Stay tuned for that tomorrow!!
